For shutters measure width & height of window opening and round up to the next whole foot. For Poly Wood Blinds, choose either an inside or outside mount, whichever works best with your window. Use a steel tape measure and measure to the nearest 1/8".

Outside Mount
Window covering will hang outside the window and cover an area larger than the window

Width: Measure the outermost width of the window frame including the amount desired to overlap window frame.

Height: Brackets are typically installed above the window frame. Measure the exact height from the top of the window frame to bottom of the frame. Add 2" to frame height when installing blind above window frame.
